  • Bumped again. Well the screen thing didn't work, but I achieved something I wanted since making this post. Making this camera work. Well this is the end of the post... Making something work again since they were abandoned makes me very happy. And th…
  • Found a way to extend the battery life on the camera, since the screen contributes to the camera dying fast, I found on the settings to set the settings on the brightness to low. Sorry for bump by the way.
  • Scoured through every site that has it but all it leads to either broken links, sites that don't exist anymore, or links that say the link doesn't exist.
  • However I found some screenshots of a supposed program that will convert sis to jar. It's called "Sis 2 Sisx & Jar Converter". I also have been looking at alot of forums talking about it and some of them said a site that has it but the downl…
  • I noticed the problem here... The problem is that they are sis or sisx files. When I install jar or jad it is fine. So what I need is a java version of the sis/sisx applications. Is there a .sis to .jar converter out there? 'Cause I never found a wo…
  • @BlueSun said: @Windows99SE said: Gotta say that it amazes me that people loved XP that much. People still use it long after it was discontinued. Which is hilarious because people used to hate it back in the day when i…
  • According to the camera, the 2gb (micro)SD card can contain: ~2000 high-definition photos 3.25 hours of video. That is pretty impressive.
  • @Bry89 said: @Windows99SE said: Also, don't remind us of that moron. To be honest, what use does InstallShield have anyway, compared to XP? Yeah, sorry. Got a bit off-topic there. Gotta say that it amazes me that p…
  • The MicroSD card actually worked so that saved me the trouble of me buying an SD card to insert.
  • I missed the classic old dark-orange style aswell. Thanks man.
  • Try using an older version of Minecraft and java aswell. Because newer versions consume alot of resources. And older java so the older version works with it.
  • @lollolmanVM said: I was born in 2008. The user that repeatedly requested for InstallShield is like 5 years old.
  • @BlueSun said: XP still has about 3% marketshare, which puts it above OS X 10.14 and just below OS X 10.13. Damn. And after 5 years since Extended Support ended. I expected that people would upgrade to Windows 7 and XP would die off but n…
  • And the kids that spammed "GIVE ME WINDOWS XP" will be coming back to ask for it again.
  • @SomeGuy said: Did it still work after pointing it at the sun? That will damage many digital cameras. No, it is still working fine. @yourepicfailure said: From the d2x. I got it in 2006, but was released 2004 a little later th…
  • @yourepicfailure said: The camera should not be underexposing that much in daylight. That is almost 4 stops underexposed. Something is wrong with the light metering system. Yeah, I think the settings in the camera were tampered or the set…
  • @yourepicfailure said: Try doing a few more tests in daylight with the highest quality compression. I'd like to see a bit more of this camera's capability. Sure thing, here you go. The weather was great today anyway, so this made for a gr…
  • Oh and I was right, obviously this camera doesn't support higher class SD Cards over 2gb, when I inserted one in, it said "UNSUPPORTED CARD".
  • @yourepicfailure said: Your lens needs cleaning. It's hazy. And judging how it's default center weight contrast autofocus sensing, you need a sharp detail where you point the af spot. I can tell as nothing is in focus, hard to tell image q…
  • @SomeGuy said: I told you these things don't work at all with "regular" batteries. I have a similar Samsung camera and it does exactly the same thing with regular batteries. You MUST use the high energy variety or the higher MAh rated rechargeabl…
  • I decided to take a look at the camera's memory anyway and found that all the pictures in there was in the maximum resolution and it was just compressed down to 1mb. (Oh and they were from 2006.), I tried to get them out of the camera into the compu…
  • Did a quick google search and found that the internal memory is 16 MB. Which is pretty low, so I will definitely be needing an SD Card. Because taking pictures and videos via the internal memory and dragging them to the computer is gonna take longer…
  • @yourepicfailure said: The position of the sd slot is danger close to the batteries. Damage could have been done by corrosion. The MMC Card however did not have any corrosion when I retrieved it so it is fine. @SomeGuy said: Chec…
  • @Windows99SE said: I found a microSD card that is 2gb and a microSD adapter for it, gonna format it and try it. Don't know what I was expecting, but didn't work. It said "MEMORY FULL" despite the card being fully formatted and empty so th…
  • @yourepicfailure said: Make sure it's fat32 and supported by the camera. The camera from there will create the database information and required dcf data. Look inside the sd card slot. There is a little finicky sensor that checks the lock …
  • @robobox said: Once you get a new card, try it out with a computer first. If the computer writes to it fine but the camera still doesn’t work with the card, then the camera’s SD reader may be broken. I think if I put it in the computer, t…
  • @nick99nack said: If your camera is draining batteries after 2-3 minutes, there's something seriously wrong with either the camera or the batteries. It's either the camera because of being shoved in a shelf to be forgotten for almost a de…
  • Also found out that it drains batteries fast (or so I think). After I bought the batteries and inserted them in, it said battery depleted after 2-3 minutes. I guess I will do need a working powerbank so I don't spend alot of money on this camera.
  • Got yet another problem here... the dumb camera spits back "CARD LOCKED" whenever I try to load the 256mb mmc card. And there is no lock switch on the card, nor is it locked at all. I can write perfectly to the card. I need to know how to format on …
  • Bought myself some good ol' Duracell batteries and these off-brand batteries are shit.
