  • I also thank you. Would be interesting to give this a try. 10.4 is so slowww and hoggy. Never used this old of a release. How's the imagery support? EDIT: Hate to hijack a request, but it's a similar one: would anyone happen to have the Unix …
  • You need the nvme driver for your hadware. If your cloning software is WinPE based, it should be able to have it load. I have Symantec System Recovery (aka Ghost 15) and it allows me to load my windows x86 nvme mass storage driver.
  • Meh i had a antivirus that blocked programs from saving to my documents. Took me an hour to figure out why it didn't save. So some av just needs a lottle tweaking.
  • But I can still go online and pinpoint a bunch of forums and guides offering an assortment of downloads that violate the eula and copyright.
  • What gets me is the lack of effort on Apple's part on cracking down hackintoshes.
  • Hmmmm At this point either: Delete gfxui since it flat-out doesn't work. Or fix .Net. I believe for your hardware, gfx should use .net 3.x or 4.0. Uninstalling and reinstalling .net should "refresh" the broken components.
  • Might be useful for me as Toshiba took down the historical/legacy content off their eu website yesterday. Should've archived that stuff sooner...
  • Yeah this, but the problem is finding a viable vector method and remote execution. It's difficult right now to get it to work correctly on a variety of machines and configurations. The exploit exists, but there's a reason nothing that uses it is …
  • In reality, modern alternative processors and architectures are powerful enough to allow virtualization of x86 instructions for the transition. For windows a WoW solution (already made somewat with 10), and I'm sure Linux users would just happily re…
  • I don't trust cloud anything. I only use cloud storage to store some things I use on other computers. Never for backup of anything important. Why? Well out of the blue your cloud storage accound cna be terminated and lose everything. Not a true ba…
  • Yeah, and kernelbase.dll in the error log points further to a .net malfunction as well.
  • Don't roll back with the windows utility. Always uninstall, delete driver software and reinstall the working one. Unless you have 10, then it just reinstalls the broken one anyways. Gfxui is the control panel for your intel hd graphics driver. Yo…
  • Get a different graphics driver. Or reinstall it. Looks like some components of your current Intel HD don't like 7.
  • I wonder what third parties are going to do the lawsuit. Going to happen? No. Sounds like Adobe trying to cover for themselves and a licensing disagreement.
  • @win32 said: If we're still around in 2104 we could provide a Windows 7 Ultimate VHD and be able to boot from it natively, without any virtualizer overhead and with few limitations. https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/knom/2009/04/07/windows…
  • Look at the soldered chips and look for a soj package variant. Ensure the ns speeds are the same. If my eyes aren't lying to me, VG264265BJ 35ns version. You'll need this chip style: ebay and maybe some ic sites mouser etc. vogons or vcfed …
  • Did you ever get batteries that work well enough to warrant such capacity? Here are what I use in my film camera setup: The Energizers are good for burst draw, e.g. fire flash then the transistors pull large current from battery to recharge ca…
  • Yeah even though Xp is out of support, I left a pet store today happily shining the xp professional default screensaver on their registers.
  • @Someguy, Those are extreme cases where someone pointed their camera at the sun for a prolonged, extreme time. In most cases the aperture blades melted unless they used live picture, then they melted their sensors. In those cases it was not the …
  • Good. Now it shall be consigned to history. No, now it enters the ranks of Windows 2000 with its dedicated die-hard fans who will keep it going too.
  • CMOS sensors are immune to solar damage. The worst that happens is the light meter gets jinxed for a bit until a power cycle in the case of SLRs. But rare with modern meters. But with point and shoots, metering is performed through the sensor, which…
  • The camera should not be underexposing that much in daylight. That is almost 4 stops underexposed. Something is wrong with the light metering system. It appears the right amount of light is making the camera over-compensate incorrectly. But since…
  • Try doing a few more tests in daylight with the highest quality compression. I'd like to see a bit more of this camera's capability. FYI, my tip on the sensor was to help achieve a better focus and see if your lens needed cleaning. Contrast autof…
  • Your lens needs cleaning. It's hazy. And judging how it's default center weight contrast autofocus sensing, you need a sharp detail where you point the af spot. I can tell as nothing is in focus, hard to tell image quality.
  • Congratulations on selecting one of the most instable longhorn builds. You will have to find xp x64 edition drivers and manually install them in device manager.
  • If the card was formatted in a way the camera doesn't like, it would say unformmatted or has wrong format. Page 110-111 http://www.arxvaldex.com/pb/files/manuals/HP_Photosmart_M305.pdf It's not reading it correctly. I've had this problem with fa…
  • I decided to peek at your camera's manual. The position of the sd slot is danger close to the batteries. Damage could have been done by corrosion.
  • For the software, they are likely illegally selling vol keys as you pointed out. And that image came straight off winworld. They even copypastad the downloads description into theirs. How'd you find this?
  • Make sure it's fat32 and supported by the camera. The camera from there will create the database information and required dcf data. Look inside the sd card slot. There is a little finicky sensor that checks the lock switch position of the card. M…
  • And I thought this was a thread about mini 80mm cd/dvds. You know for those handicams. Probably software once on a floppy, but someone thought it would be a good idea to put up an iso instead of a disk image. But yeah in my place of work usb d…
