Q Sometimes the number of points or faces increases without me noticing, even though the shape hasn't changed?

A I think [Extrude] or [Quick Copy] was performed without you noticing. Selecting everything and performing [Merge Approximate Points] or [Merge Identical Points] may restore it.

Q After selecting a line, if I deselect with range selection, unrelated lines also get deselected.

A It is designed that way for ease of use.

Q I executed [Align Horizontally], but some points move to strange places without aligning?

A This happens if you select both symmetric points and execute point alignment from an offset angle.

Q Even after [Fill Faces], faces are not applied to pentagonal parts.

A Faces are only applied to triangular or quadrilateral parts. If you want to apply faces to pentagons or higher, draw lines to split them into triangles or quads.

Q It's a quadrilateral and the points are properly connected, but [Fill Faces] still doesn't apply a face.

A Possible causes: a face is already applied but hidden in single-sided display, a dummy face is already applied but set to hidden, or the face is hidden with [Hide].

Q Even with outline display, outline lines are not applied to transparent parts of the texture.

A This is by design. Outline lines are not applied to parts made transparent by textures.

Q When displaying as translucent, faces sometimes appear incomplete or flicker.

A This is by design. It occurs when faces intersect or when faces of extremely different sizes are close together. There is no problem with the data itself.

Q Sometimes lines that should be behind poke through front faces and are displayed.

A This is by design. It occurs when faces and lines are very close. There is no problem with the data itself.

Q Exported files sometimes cannot be read by other software.

A Differences in interpretation between the export side and import side depending on the software may be causing the file to be unreadable. If possible, try exchanging data in another format.

Q There are files in formats supported by 3DAce that cannot be loaded by 3DAce.

A Again, differences in interpretation between export and import sides depending on the software are likely the cause. If possible, try exchanging data in another format.

Q I loaded a file with textures, but the textures are not applied.

A This can happen when texture files have been moved, etc. Try matching the texture paths. Also possible that the original file had no texture information, or that image files in formats unreadable by 3DAce are being used.

Q Sometimes [Full Range Zoom] or [Selected Point Zoom] doesn't set the viewpoint correctly.

A This occurs in perspective view when the object is large. Make the object smaller or work in parallel projection.

Q When I was shrinking an object, the shape became bumpy.

A This is due to loss of precision in coordinates. Avoid extremely shrinking objects.

Q When loading a file, an error appears, but the caption remains "loading..." and I can still work.

A Either out of memory or the data has exceeded the limit. There is a risk of data corruption, so save under a different name or close the window without saving.
