■ Basic Operations (Toolbar) ■

Explanation of the toolbar.

Bold parts are extended features.

There are many convenient extended features,

so it is worth remembering them.

[Range Select] [Lasso Select]

Specify the range of points to select.

By double-clicking points or lines, you can perform the same action as continuous selection.

While holding Shift: invert selection, Shift + Ctrl: add to selection, Ctrl: deselect.

You can also directly select lines and faces.

Faces can only be directly selected with Range Select and Lasso Select, but with Lasso Select only, you can disable face selection in the settings.

[Create Independent Point]

Creates asymmetric points.

Connect to a point or double-click to finish creation.

While creating, pressing the Shift key allows creating points parallel to the XY axes.

Clicking on a line while holding Alt + Shift allows creating a point on the line.

[Create Symmetric Point]

Creates left-right symmetric points. When you move a symmetric point, the corresponding point also moves at the same time.

By creating a point from the side when the viewpoint's X-axis is centered, you can place a special center point that does not move left-right.

Connect to a point or double-click to finish creation.

While creating, pressing the Shift key allows creating points parallel to the XY axes.

Clicking on a line while holding Alt + Shift allows creating a point on the line.

[Fill Face]

Paints the currently selected color directly onto faces.

To paint a face, a face must already be applied.

[Eyedropper]

Selects a color directly from a face.

[Quadrangulate]

When triangular polygons are adjacent, you can delete the line between them to make a quadrilateral polygon.

When quadrangulating polygons of different colors, the face color becomes the one closer to the left side of the palette.

If you want to quadrangulate many polygons at once, use [Edit] > [Quadrangulate].

[Move] [Rotate] [Scale] [Normal Move]

Perform move, rotate, scale, and normal move operations respectively.

If you click where points or lines cannot be selected, it performs the same action as [Range Select]. However, you cannot directly select faces with these.

While holding Ctrl: extrude, while holding Shift: quick copy. Also Ctrl + Shift for solid extrude. When directly selecting selected points or lines to deselect, do it with [Range Select].

Also, by pressing the Shift key while dragging, for move you can do parallel movement of the local XY axes, for scale only the local XY axes, and for rotate in 15-degree increments. Be careful that if you are pressing the Shift key before clicking, it becomes a quick copy.

[Zoom]

You can zoom the viewpoint.

Double-click zooms to a range that can see all objects except hidden ones.

[Region Zoom]

Zooms so that the specified range fits on the screen.

Drag right to zoom in, drag left to zoom out.

[Pan]

Parallel-moves the viewpoint.

Double-click returns to the origin.

[Camera]

Changes the viewpoint.

Click moves to the angle closest to an axis direction at that time, double-click returns to the front.

[Selected Point Zoom]

Zooms to a range that can see the currently selected points.

If no points are selected, zooms to a range that can see points other than hidden ones.

If there are no points, moves the viewpoint to the origin.

[Full Range Zoom]

Zooms to a range that can see the entire object.

If there are no points, moves the viewpoint to the origin.
