(Free/Open/Net)BSD winmodem support?

edited January 2007 in Software
Do any of the BSDs (or any opensource unix) have any better/worse winmodem support than linux? The specific modem is an "Agere Systems PCI Soft Modem". I can't get this damn thing to work under FC3 with any of the drivers I've tried.

  • its always the same driver, however, try, ubuntu or slax for a quick fix and how could it work.
  • Well FC3 is the biggest POS Linux distro there is, so go figure.
  • Er, holy shit, I posted this almost 2 years ago :| I hate that this is such an old backup or my post count would be higher...that post is like one of the first I made after I joined.
