What Mail Server Should I Use?

I have my own server, and I have root access and everything. I was thinking POSTFIX because I hear it's easier to setup. I tried sendmail and it's a nightmare. One wrong thing specified in the config file and I figure I'm fuxed. I just need a mail server setup so I can send email from my site (obviously). Any advice?

Server is running Debian 3.1 (Sarge) I think. Too lazy to SSH in.

    Sendmail is ok if you read the documentation.

    I've heard good things about Qmail though.

    I used to use Qmail (For reasons other then the name!) and it seemed to work fine.

    I'm gonna try out QMail, then Postfix. I'm almost fed up with this server of mine. lol

    They can easily be infuriating, from experience. I suggest waiting and trying again later if it's really bad this time around.
