How to create WinNT4.0 Bootable CD?

Comments

  • you could use a DOS bootdisk then use Nero to make a bootable DOS CD then put the NT setup files onthe CD. Then add the line "X:\i386\winnt /b" BUt, you gotta edit the config for MSCDEX to make the CD-ROm drive X.
  • That's sucks. How to make real boot-cd that starts with:
Press any key to boot from CD.....
  • why do you want that....

the DOS one will start setup automaticly when th eCD is in.
  • no, when I boot from DOS I have no access to NTFS partitions and I need to boot directly in Windows installation, not in pre-copy. Like on license CD's.
  • The 'Press Any Key.....' thing is from 2000 and XP, I'm not sure if NT 4 had that. Ask Fish, he's the regional NT 4 expert.

The bootfiles are a link at the beginning. Follow the instructions starting at the first Nero screenshot.
