Enhanced DOSKEY.com

I cant get Enhanced DOSKEY.com to work on ms-dos 6.22 in Virtual Box.
When I try to activate DOSKEY.com dos freezes up.
Does anyone know how to get it to work?
PS: I am trying to fallow the dos walk through at http://legroom.net/howto/msdos.

    What are the specs for the VM? Make sure you don't have any x64 options enabled and boost the ram to 32MB or 64MB.

    The ram is at 64MB.
    I/O APCI is enabled.
    EFI is disabled.
    Chipset is PIX3.
    PAE/NX is disabled.
    The entire acceleration tab is grade out.
    Video memory is 6MB.
    Both 2D and 3D acceleration are disabled.
    USB is disabled.
    The host is 32 bit.

    I got it to work. Turns out the program I use to put files onto floppy disk images does not do it properly. So I made a disk with a different program put that disk in to the VM copied DOSKEY.COM from it the the virtual hard drive and it worked.
