Windows 95 running off a CD

edited September 2015 in Software
Ok, so one day I desided to try and fix a really old computer that I had lying around the house; I plugged it in and booted it up, It said that the C: Drive didn't exist; I eventually desided to try and boot it from a Cd; that worked, and Microsoft DOS came up; but here's where the trouble starts. I tryed to launch Windows 95 from the disk; it wanted me to setup, but I couldn't because the C: drive was fried; I was wondering if there was anyway to direct the setup prosess at the disk rather than the hard drive so I can use the disk as the drive instead.
