VMWare Workstation 9 Mouse Problem? (Windows 98 SE guest)

The mouse won't let me go to let bottom or right of the screen.

    Yeah, the drivers can be a bit tricky to install. What I'd do is remove the PS/2 mouse device, (keep in mind you DO need to use the keyboard now) then install the device, but choose the VMware Pointer driver. (You might need to pick Have Disk.)

    You need to select the hardware compatibility for VMware Workstation to Workstation 6.5-7x. Latest version of VMware Tools (Workstation 12.0) will not be able to install the mouse driver in Windows 98 SE properly.
