Please help: recovery partition

accidently changed my recovery partition to a normal partition.
can someone give me instructions on how to change it to a recovery partition

    most likely its a partition ID that has to be changed, the partition ID has to be changed to whatever it was before. Whats the operating system being used?

    Windows 7, I reinstalled windows, the partition seems to be fixed, but Acer eRecovery isn't on the system anymore
