AutoPatcher vs Unofficial Service Pack for Windows 98

So, I have another question about Windows 98 SE. I have seen 2 utilities for updating Windows 98. I am wondering which one is better. (AutoPatcher 98: https://retrosystemsrevival.blogspot.com/2018/01/auto-patcher-for-windows-98se-december.html and Service Pack: https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/unofficial_windows98_se_service_pack.html) Both exe files work and seem to be free from malware. The service pack is much newer. Also, if I should install both, what order should I do it in?

  • I've installed the Unofficial Service Pack on my Win98SE VM a while back and while I can't remember what it offered, the other one you linked seemed a tad different, such as supporting 2TB hard drives and Internet Explorer 6. I wouldn't see any harm of having both of them installed but one can choose which modules they want to install, in case any of them clash with those from the service pack.
