Yes it'd work since those Modern-Hardware emulators match the used architecture for the Thoroughbred OS (8086/8088 CPU x86) but its recommended you still Use PCem Or 86Box since they support 8088/8086 based CPUs and less memory options to avoid memory overload to the point where the OS can't start.
