Yeah it's fake, I just mounted the floppy images, opened up an hex editor, and dragged the setup.exe file and replaced "6.22" with "6.23". Its still gonna be MS-DOS 6.22, but instead of 2, its 3.
It's not funny. Not at all. Do you have any idea how much of a problem fake stuff, even if it was just meant to be a joke or personal project, can cause later on? It's not a new thing either, back in the BBS days people occasionally uploaded fake stuff hoping to get upload credits if nobody noticed. And anything that wasn't caught is still floating around. Don't even get me started on the skibidi slop so-called "AI"s shit out.
You could have at least made it MS-DOS "Super leet I Wanna Be Bill Gates Towel Boy Edition", and then might at least be a tiny bit funny.
