Aldus PageMaker 1.00's installation looks very similiar to Windows 1.x installation

Were most programs back then exactly like Windows installation, or was it like this for everyone until the early 90s.

Edit: Accidentally put the wrong image, fixed it right away.

    Programs that bundled the Windows runtime always just used a modified version of Microsoft's Windows installer.
