I have got my server almost up (should be up in 2-6 hours) anyways, Winworld do you have any fikles that are less than 20MB and dont get alot of downloads, i can host them if you need.

    I suppose a lot of the stuff on Citymail (at least DOS/Win16) would be nice to have on a new server.

    I could also run a file or two (I don't use apache (I use something more user-friendly) and the address would have to be an ip address (unless I could get stupid no-ip working)

    Aza may be fine once its got bandwidth to play with, and i think ive solved my problem, ive been playing around with the settings, ive been connected for about 2 days i think

    ok the speed is 128kbps upload but router reports it as being 160kbps... unlimited bandwidth...

    Pardon the shellnet dls from being slow... OOL has capped me to 50-150kbit up and dsl (384) hasn't arrived yet- by the 23rd.

    oh btw I have like 200kb (little more but rounded up) download. (I am pretty sure though) so just letting you know (incase you needed hosting)

    just test http://192.168.1.100/ out if you want to that is what I have set up

    192.168.x.x is a local IP, so we can't use it. You need to post your external IP or DNS if you have one for ppl to be able to use it.

    http://168.103.221.120 ... now i can see why my domain won't work.

    It must be some network configuration settings or something

    If anyone can help me fix that I will be ready to go (I hope)

    Do you have a router? If you do, did you forward port 80 and set up a webserver?

    ok... does any body here know how to change HTTP ports on a SME Server? That or I need to get my problem done with my RAM so I can burn a DVD to install that on my server.

    my router is forwarded to port 80 and I am VERY sure I did it correct but last time I tried this I had the same problem here

    http://168.103.221.120 doesn't work (I am on a proxy (turned off when I am here at the forums though)
