Looking for VB 1.0 for DOS

There was a time that I had VB for DOS. Nowadays, it looks like Microsoft cracked down hard on any website that had it, and every link to it is broken.

There is also VB 2.0-4.0, although some run on Windows 3.x

Only 1.0 exists for DOS (as far as we know).

Why the hell is it 2.4MB!? That's huge for the olden days!

2.4MB isn't that big. That's only 2-3 1.2MB 5.25" floppies or about 4 720K 3.5" floppies.
