N00bie XP Home Q

edited April 2005 in Software
I know this sounds noob-like, but is there a free evaluation version of windows XP home from M$ (legal), or is an unactivated xp home counted as this? I know that there are evals of win2k and server'03 but was there ever an XP one? and what about 95, 98 etc?

I've never heard of a Windows XP Home trial. I have an
old version of XP Pro trial. If someone has a copy of
XP Home though you can put it on and run it as a
trial. There's even some apps that can make it not
bother you so much during the trial period.
I've never heard of a trial of 95 or 98 either but I
may not have caught it back then.

Yeah that's the one I got. I got the Office trial and
checked a box to include the trial. I just head to pay
shipping and I signed up Thumpnet as a business.
