CF to pcmia adapters?

I recently found my old kodak dcs420c. I plan to do a spotlight later on with this marvel in computer and digital imaging technology, however the pcmia card in it long died out.

I already have multitudes of cf cards(my d2x uses them) and a reader.
So, I am wondering if anyone has experience with pcmia to cf adapters. Would probably make life easier, if they are reliable and recommandable.

    CF/PCMCIA adapters are little more than pin adapters with nearly no electronics in them. I use them all the time with different computers. Note that some old machines might have trouble with newer/larger CF cards.
