How to install cilent for Microsoft networks on ms dos

If you want to use network on ms dos,install this and you will get access to network drives or network shares,step 1:it can be found on a windows nt 4 install cd or download 31pack.iso.step 2:find the msclient in the directory,step 3:type setup in the cmd pointed to the directory,step 4:press enter,and select your network card,if you don't have your network card not shown in the list,just select network adapter not listed on list bellow,and point the OEM driver Directory and press enter.step 5:choose add protocol,and add microsoft TCP/IP.if you have a IPX compatible network,leave it and most networks today uses TCP/IP and leave it there,step 6:it will ask your OEM driver and leave it to the msclient directory,it will start copying filles,step 7:restart your computer and it will modify your autoexec.bat and config.sys filles and there you go!

     Step 1) Create a startup disk with Windows NT 4.0 Server or download the 31pqck from Scampers.

     Step 2) Find the msclient in the directory then cd to that directory (for 31pack)
    
     Step 3) Type setup into the directory (just run setup.exe for startup disk)
    
     Step 4) Press enter and select your network card. If you don't have your network card not shown in the list, just select network adapter not listed on list below and install the network card driver.
    
     Step 5) Choose add protocol and add Microsoft TCP/IP. Now you have a IPX compatible network, leave it and most networks today uses TCP/IP.
    
     Step 6) It will now ask your OEM driver and leave it to the msclient directory andit will start copying files automatically.
    
     Step 7) Restart your computer and it will modify your autoexec.bat and config.sys files.
