    I ran Virtual PC 2007 on 64-bit Windows Vista.

    Virtual PC 2007 will infact run on Windows 7. Virtual PC 2007 will on 32-bit versions of Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

    Running 64-bit versions of Virtual PC 2007 on 64-bit Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 will require an updated version of VMM.SYS in order for it to work. Virtual PC 2007 will not run at all on 64-bit versions of Windows 10.

    I thought it doesn't necessarily works on Windows 10. On Windows 10 it seems that any attempt to run a VM will result in the host instantly crashing.

    That's what I'm thinking. Any attempt to run VPC2007 on Windows 10 throws a BSOD crash with a CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT STOP error referencing to VMM.SYS.

    Unfortunately, there is no fix for this issue on 64-bit Windows 10.

    Uhh… where's the final installer for 2007?
    Odd that there's only prerelease versions here.

    The final version can be obtained from the Microsoft website.

    Please don't ask for software released after 2001, even if it is free. Also searching the web doesn't hurts you

    The final version of 2007 is no longer available on the Microsoft website, although 2004 SP1 still is.

    Also, version 6.0.156.0 is the RTM build.
