OS/2 2.0 pre-releases

I hate posting incomplete or damaged dumps, but for the time being I have posted a damaged dump of OS/2 2.0 S.E. Version 2.0 Level 6H.177.

The 6.177 Pre-release, also known as the "Limited Availability" release, was created as an end-of-year release to fulfill promises for a 1991 OS/2 2.0 "release". Notice that the labels do not indicate it is a pre-release. IBM actually provided a level of official support for this release.

Depending how you look at it, it could have been considered an “RTM release”. Historically significant, for sure. All put together very shortly after the IBM/Microsoft split.

That was the second release with the new OS/2 workplace shell. The first beta release with the workplace shell 6.167, is already posted.
