IBM THINKPAD broken

My I'm think pad t22 , it worked perfectly equip with a 20gb hard disk 256mb of ram a p3 900mhz it's a decent laptop for Windows 9x and 2000 and some Linux distros , the night before it broke I was attempting to install red hat Linux . I woke up next day and went to find that the laptop didn't turn on, anytime I pressed the power button it flashed the hard drive light and powers off anyone know how to solve my issue

  • Please try remove harddisk, battery, ram. Power it up without these pieces. If a working laptop attempts to start without these, it will beep for error.

If this does not work, try to reset CMOS also. Just google "T22 reset bios" or "T22 reset cmos".

It would be really sad if such an old high-quality piece of hardware dies :(

  • Alright I'll try that any other suggestions that can help me

  • THANK U SOO MUCH IT WORKS
