[OFFER] MS Interix 2.2 - UNIX Subsystem for NT/2000 (shell, gcc, ...)

edited August 2018 in Offers & Requests

I was just examining old MSDN CDs and found this piece. (from: x05-84777 from 2000).

It is a POSIX subsystem for Windows. For today's standards it is very small.

I tested it on a Pentium MMX 233/160MB RAM and a clean Windows XP (no SP). It is quite fast and looks good.
When launching open 'csh shell', it is much more comfortable than ksh.

On some point it identifies as "cygnus", maybe it's derived from cygwin?

It is funny to use windows/dos commands in a unix environment and use C: ... ..., see screenshots (EDIT.COM and DIR  )
