Dell 9150 Desktop 1, 2, 3 Lights
Got handed down a Dell Dimension 9150 couple of years ago. Everything was fine, it was a great HTPC. Ran Win 7 without a problem. One day last week, while I was in the middle of reformatting a secondary hard disk to prepare for its sale, it suddenly rebooted with lights 1, 2 and 3 in green and a blinking cursor on the screen. No beeps or amber lights.
What I’ve done:
Ensured that every single part (RAM, HDD, optical drives, expansion cards) is plugged in and well seated.
Reset the CMOS and changed the battery.
Swapped the hard disk, RAM and video card to a known working, compatible alternative but to no avail.
Everything was working until I was in the middle of reformatting a secondary hard disk in Windows 7. Anyone know why?
