About copy protected disk on PCE emulator
I found a site mentioning the PCE emulator without properly identifying the problem.
So I informed this fact to hampa - the developer to PCE emulator.
I have over 1000+ kinds of disk copy protected game / program dumped from Super Card Pro.
(I used to use TC, but I sold TCOB. So I only use SCP to dump them.)
Most of them are worked on PCE emulator except with 80286 CPU based program.
Of course PCE emulator doesn't support PCjr / Tandy 1000 / PS/2 8530 (8086) / PS/2 8525 (8086).
This is one of the disadvantages (demerit) for PCE than another emulator.
But I can understand that PCE is based on IBM PC 5150 / 5160 / 8086 or 8088 XT based PC emulator.
I only run or check disk copy protected game / program on PCE.
(No another emulator use on checking copy proetected game / program.)
Because I don't have copy protected game / program so much with 1.2MB or 1.44MB disk based on 80286+ CPU)
A few of copy protected game / program doesn't run on PCE with normal configulation.
But most of them are solved with editing PCE configulation file.
Also I made a lot of PCE configulation file to emplement of many of original IBM PC 5150 / 5160 configulation just like real machine.
Example :
*IBM PC 5150
IBM PC 5150 (BIOS : 04/24/1981, 64KB RAM)
IBM PC 5150 (BIOS : 04/24/1981, 54KB RAM)
IBM PC 5150 (BIOS : 10/19/1981, 64KB RAM)
IBM PC 5150 (BIOS : 10/19/1981, 544KB RAM)
IBM PC 5150 (BIOS : 10/27/1982, 256KB RAM) with 10MB (IBM XEBEC MFM : P/N 1816101, 1982)
IBM PC 5150 (BIOS : 10/27/1982, 640KB RAM) with 10MB (IBM XEBEC MFM : P/N 1816101, 1982)
*IBM PC 5160
IBM PC 5160 (BIOS : 08/16/1982, 256KB RAM) with 10MB (IBM XEBEC MFM : P/N 1816101, 1982)

IBM PC 5160 (BIOS : 11/08/1982, 640KB RAM) with 10MB (IBM XEBEC MFM : P/N 1816101, 1982)
IBM PC 5160 (BIOS : 01/10/1986, 640KB RAM) with 10MB (IBM XEBEC MFM : P/N ???????, 1985)
IBM PC 5160 (BIOS : 05/09/1986, 640KB RAM) with 10MB (IBM XEBEC MFM : P/N ???????. 1985)
Thanks to hampa, I use PCE emulator In various cofigulation to run copy protected game / program.
I don't know how many emulator supports copy protected game / program.
Anyway there is enought for me to check copy protected game / program with PCE emulator.
