i got 0s/2 to work on my laptop (before it screwed up and i had to send it back) but i could never get it to work in VPC

Not sure, I think OS\2 Warp 4 needs a patch to run on Pentium 4s

I got OS\2 Warp 4 to run in VPC along with eComstation 1.0

OS/2 1.0 won't run on a P4, it won't even run on a 486! It should work on most 286:es and 386:es, though. An IBM machine runs OS/2 1.0 best.

Why IBM machines?

With an IBM machine, the only up side is having the best compatability.

I got 2.1 to run in VPC, unless it works around that bug (must test nt 3 someday).

IBM made OS/2 and i'm not sure 1.0 works very good on any other machine. It didn't work on my 486 or DosBox 386 emulator, but it worked on my IBM PS/2 model 30-286 computer.
