2. How are you using this? If it is a browser extension, then what browser are you using? Chrome broke regular HTTP downloads a few months ago.
3. Are you using a "download accelerator"? Those start multiple downloads to try and make it faster by downloading the files in parts. (as far as I know, correct me if I am wrong)
4. Using a VPN for downloading large files isn't a fantastic idea in the first place.
