[REQ] Any info about Excel 4.0c

Hello.
I found several mentionen about Excel 4.0c Standard Edition in Microsoft KB (i think, good proof).
But i don't found any other sources...
Who know, this exist? Or this is mislablel?
Who seen this version? What is release?

    I don't think Excel 4.0c exists.

    A couple of things to keep in mind - there have been a few mistakes pointed out from that KB archive previously. Also early office products were not always clearly labeled with minor revisions, especially if it was just a packaging change.

    For example, I have one Office 4.2 floppy disk that is from an earlier revision than what Winworld has (dates are earlier, and the files don't match the exact setup layout). Outwardly, the only difference was the part number on the label. Also, some of the "Office 4.2c"/"Office 4.3c" distributions only have the "c" indicator hidden away inside of them.

    We don't get a lot of redumps of Microsoft products because people don't think it is worth their time to check and compare. It would be good if more people would submit redumps, especially if they include disk and manual scans.
