Offer of Dadaware Embellish 2.02b Win32 Digital Paint-Edit-FX-ETC>>>
Sometimes people just need awareness of where certain soft is located...
I had never heard of Embellish but stumbled across from digging into wayback machine...
This is excellent old Digital Paint-Edit-FX & More AIO with an object-based approach rather than layers (same goal)...
So most would not even know it's 'Out There'...
Requirements are quite lite Windows 95 on a 486...However installs great on XP...
Here is a texture made from 4 object iterations modified & blended...What a MESS!-

Developer was selling this for $69.99 in 1997...
I guess things weren't worth staying open so Dev made it "Fully Functional Demo" so basically freeware but not
Sales page from 1997-

Business done but released fully functional in 2001 (download on this page)-

Some Peeps don't like such 'object' apps because they are not like photoshop but since every stroke or every image brought in can be augmented in many ways It's quite potent...
There is much going on in the Object Animator & even has a Spreadsheet where you can edit from... Patterns of animation can be saved to apply to other objects OR the objects along with their animations can be saved to later use...
Fade FX can be applied to alpha channel image formats brought in & fade can be animated all other FX can be applied to anything like rotate, 3D rotate, scale, shear, visible, explode & more...
Many pen pressure options & much going on in the FX sector of you have the 'imagination' to see how to animate your FX which is to duplicate an object, apply some FX then duplicate again, apply again, etc...
Wanted to animated some vomit spatter but in this case with my limited experience & lack of knowledge of Embellish it looks more like worms or larvae moving about which is still fitting for the image at least-
Original image if you wanna try- The previous is just 9 frames & you can see some patterns were copied to other objects... The GIF is only 77 KB...
Just testing out here I guess...
You can leave the animation preview open permanent whilst adjusting & it will refresh as you commence...
Don't be fooled by the simple GUI when opened, this is quite deep-
It runs in modern windows, set compatibility mode to win95 but the preferences didn't save for me.
The emb.hlp needs converting but the html/doc there seem pretty complete.
It looks simple but has a bit of a learning curve.
Amazing this 30 year old software runs and is still usable.
The zip file is the XP install folder, I haven't scanned it, so use at own risk etc.
