NEC Versa 2405CD Video Card Driver file BIOS locked.
Hello WinWorld community,
I have just acquired a badly-battered-but-fully-functional NEC Versa 2405CD with no OS installed. Upon collecting and retrieving the drivers for the Windows 95 OSR 2.1-powered laptop, I hit a wall in the road of being unable to extract the video card drivers, since it is BIOS locked. I can only extract its contents on a real NEC laptop, and none of the four NEC computers I have contain a functional floppy disk drive. They are all dead, man, and there are no replacements in eBay.
Is anyone here, owner of a NEC computer, able to spare me a hand and help me extract the drivers from the file I have uploaded on this discussion? Since it's just a bit over 1MB and it's available on Archive.org on the NEC FTP file archive, I hope it's not a problem.
I don't mind if it's a floppy disk image or the files themselves, just as long as I'm able to use them.
Thank you very much!
