Is Windows 2000 a virus?

edited August 21 in Software
Hi everybody, I wanted to download Windows 2000 from your website, but I saw the following message on the webpage:

Please note! Using this with an active, unfiltered connection to the Internet may place you at high risk for malware or other unwanted viruses. Do not use this in any form of production environment.

What does it mean? Is the file a virus?
Thanks in advence for your answer

It's because of the "hypervisor exploit", which means that malware and viruses can come and infect your system via a VM without proper protection for the VM itself.

I've been using a Win2000 VM for eight years and I have Kerio Personal Firewall installed for it, which keeps me protected should I browse the internet with it.
