Recently found a 4.3 installer so went to town on tS4.3 as BEFORE I had 4.2 well alotta plug don't work in 4.2...

Many in tS community think tS43 the BEST version for stability & most useable for a minimal GUI garbage build-up...I agree...

BUTT!...I also heard this won't run on 64bits...Don't know, only tested on XP...

A few years ago talking with Brycer Rashad Carter he said he ONLY used tS43 for his bryce modeling here is his 'Cement Jungle'-



GUI is pretty clean reminds me of Nendo-



Having shared 3.2 on here this 4.3 a big step up & I have included as MANY TSX plugs as I can find that will work many have been commercial converted to freeware but there are some cracked ones that are rare & not abound in the tS community...

BUTT!...I found that symmetry modeling a problem & the two books I have one says use 'object union' which is finicky boolean action & the other 'glue as sibling'...still no good...

Found that there were 3 plugs for symmetry one commercial cannot be found the other found but only for version 5 finally found 'Mirror Whole' which works real good & you can restore model as well-






Kinda works like in Nendo...problem solved...

Plugins are numerous & too many to list as well as scenes & objects added...The shader systems are ShaderMagic, ShaderLab 1.1 Explorer Edition, ShaderLab 2.4 Pro, DarkTree 1.10 plus numerous cool freebies & a Fake GI as well...

tS43 does have a 'Hybrid Radiosity' but it's kinda like 'Best guess where to place noise' Better than nothing...

Directory also has some standalones like LithUnWrap original & 2019 version, NeoPaint portable, RoadKills UVtool, RockGen (for tS), UVmapper Pro....So you can delete any of those not wanted...

Instructions for install included real simple the only thing you would have to do other than that is install DarkTree 1.10 then simbiont for tS 4.3...that tS plug was the very first simbiont Dark Sim coded BTW...

Well Piss.. Started with 3 hosts but one drawing major CPU so had to shut browser with task manager... OK 2 left so then one had 'Upload Error' after 30% so all we got is just the one left... The internet is a toilet>>>

How magnificent. Thank you so much. The link didn't want to play and threw up so many warnings, then failed, but a random VPN to faraway land fixed it..

I must say that as my first impression of Truespace is how clean and elegant the interface which I have never seen anything quite like before.. Very nice.

I also appreciate the unique brand of showmanship how you present your finds. I would thank you more often but did not want to suddenly clog the forum..

Wow... For me it's the cleanest hoster, I open URL, Hit the blue-ish download button & here it comes... No Tranny or Furry Porn, No Date Sites, No Ads for Enlargements (We already have that with Zoolou)...

But I do have to find more, many look innocent until you download, then the other shoe drops...

trueSpace 4.3 is the cleanest of them all & the most stable. The only thing I was worried was that symmetry was a problem but I did find that plugin...

Thanks for your compliment, Yes, I do as I do... Too many present as they are in a funeral parlor... Because of this contrast some think I'm being an 'ashwhole' You see I even spelled that wrong in order to not 'offend'... The truth is I hold myself back quite a bit, Perhaps because I have been drinking non-flouridated water since 2008, or perhaps I am getting old & crotchety...

Truespace 7.6 has a new special edition (modelside edition) that has been release recently it even supports a .fbx plugin. You might want to check it out!

Yeah that's too crashy/freezy for me & a big part of it is they crammed so much into it which is what adds to the instability as it's over a GB when installed...

Plus there's no guides or tuts covering everything included which changes workflow enough that the manuals are kinda worthless for a number of operations...

The plain ole 7.61b8 installer better then one adds their own plugs & such but I found the last 'scene release' of 7.51 even better plus I got the VRay for it which installs right into the very same folder & defaults to Vray render. Even though it's slightly older last commercial version there's something to say about it as it appears when going 'free' things instantly became experimental & 'loose'...

I say I can’t blame you if programs crash and are not stable. But for me the big draw card was x import and export and fbx import and export! I also got the video resources for truespace just before they shutdown the original truespace site , but also made a copy of the ones listed at flat2d’s website also. Plus I downloaded some goodies from their site as well like cartography shop and pacemaker just to name a few.

Question for you have you found the amxtex plugin? I’m still searching for it. I have even asked at hashs website without much luck. They have the versions from 13 and up but nothing below.👇 The version below was release for free after the author of the software stopped working on it! Some surely has to have it but who?

Amxtex was a plug-in for animation master by Hash. Sadly the free version of it has missing in the ether. All I can find is the version for 13 and up before hash made it part of their new version of animation master. There is only one possibility to get the old version again is if they can recompile-source for it for the old versions of animation master and yes they do have the source code for the the plug-in.
