Recently found a 4.3 installer so went to town on tS4.3 as BEFORE I had 4.2 well alotta plug don't work in 4.2...
Many in tS community think tS43 the BEST version for stability & most useable for a minimal GUI garbage build-up...I agree...
BUTT!...I also heard this won't run on 64bits...Don't know, only tested on XP...
A few years ago talking with Brycer Rashad Carter he said he ONLY used tS43 for his bryce modeling here is his 'Cement Jungle'-
GUI is pretty clean reminds me of Nendo-
Having shared 3.2 on here this 4.3 a big step up & I have included as MANY TSX plugs as I can find that will work many have been commercial converted to freeware but there are some cracked ones that are rare & not abound in the tS community...
BUTT!...I found that symmetry modeling a problem & the two books I have one says use 'object union' which is finicky boolean action & the other 'glue as sibling'...still no good...
Found that there were 3 plugs for symmetry one commercial cannot be found the other found but only for version 5 finally found 'Mirror Whole' which works real good & you can restore model as well-
Kinda works like in Nendo...problem solved...
Plugins are numerous & too many to list as well as scenes & objects added...The shader systems are ShaderMagic, ShaderLab 1.1 Explorer Edition, ShaderLab 2.4 Pro, DarkTree 1.10 plus numerous cool freebies & a Fake GI as well...
tS43 does have a 'Hybrid Radiosity' but it's kinda like 'Best guess where to place noise' Better than nothing...
Directory also has some standalones like LithUnWrap original & 2019 version, NeoPaint portable, RoadKills UVtool, RockGen (for tS), UVmapper Pro....So you can delete any of those not wanted...
Instructions for install included real simple the only thing you would have to do other than that is install DarkTree 1.10 then simbiont for tS 4.3...that tS plug was the very first simbiont Dark Sim coded BTW...
