OFFER - Sodipodi 0.34 Win32 Win98-ME & 2000-XP with Install Instruction>>>
Gotta Podi?...Better go outside in the Sodi....
No it's not spoken that way it means 'mish-mash' in Estonian goo-goo speak...
This was Inkscape before becoming Inkscape...I find it way more intuitive like it better than Inkscape & Xara as well...Gimp-like workflow easy for any idiot & you can have as many dialogs open as needed or NONE at all just use right-click ala Nendo-Mirai workflow style...
Sadly did not make it in Inkscape & also nice to have some dialogs CLOSE BY when working...
However takes just a little work to get running...I would turn any DLLs into .BAK files rather than overwrite in case this not work for you in your OS...I am using XP...
1- Download GTK+ Runtime from here & install FIRST then go open up into it's /bin folder then wait...
https://gtk-win.sourceforge.io/home/index.php/Main/Downloads
2- Download Sodipodi either the 98-ME or 2000-XP version near bottom of list & install...
https://sourceforge.net/projects/sodipodi/files/sodipodi/0.34/
3- Open Sodipodi ROOT folder rename libgmodule-2.0-0.dll to libgmodule-2.0-0.bak...
4- Now in GTK+ Root/Bin folder copy libgmodule-2.0-0.dll AND zlib1.dll and paste into Sodipodi root folder...
5- In Sodipodi root folder there is a zlib-1.dll, take that DLL & make another copy IN SAME PLACE but named zlib.dll....So you should have a zlibdll, zlib1.dll & a zlib-1.dll in there with the zlib1.dll as the imported one...
6- Sodipodi should now run & also should export transparent PNGs (and save SVG as well)...
NOTE- You MAY have to restart after installing GTK+ as it does add environment variable...I already had it installed so don't overlook that step...
I also checked to see if Lazy Nezumi hooks Sodipodi & it DOES but not really needed when you can alter any stroke...
As well as export transparent PNG you can IMPORT PNG bitmap with transparency too also BMP...
Also Sodipodi can work on real crappy machine like 128 MB RAM with 500 MHZ speed...So there's that aspect...
My Screen-
Some of THEIR Screens...Most are versions a bit older than 0.34-
