21 Interesting DOS GUIs Worth Trying (in 1 VirtualBox VHD)

Firstly, I apologise if I've posted this in the wrong category, but Software seems appropriate.

I've been trying out some DOS GUIs over the last few weeks, just out of curiosity.

So far I've tried 70 and I've been reasonably impressed with a number of them.

I've done a brief write-up of the ones I thought were quite good, together with creating a demo
VHD for each.

I've added a section on DOS GUIs to my "multiboot Windows" site running on my Synology NAS.

If you go to the site https://multiboot-windows.dscloud.me/ the DOS GUI links are about mid
way down the page.

The GUIs I rather like are:

BreadBox_Ensemble_4.1.3 . . . . . .Blue_OS_v1.6 . . . . . . . Desktop_2
Norton_Desktop_1.0 . . . . . . . . . . DOS_Start_1.9 . . . . . . RUSH_1.4
Costa_GUI_1.60 . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Tandy_Deskmate . . . . DESQview_2.1
QBF-OS_9.91 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .HyperDOS_2.0 . . . . . . McShell v3.1
FastMenu Gold 7.0b . . . . . . . . . . .MOS 98 . . . . . . . . . . . MOS Remaster
QuikMenu 1.2e . . . . . . . . . . . . . . QuikMenu 3.1h . . . . . .GAZE v1.0
ToyBox II 2.02a . . . . . . . . . . . . . . MagicDesk 3.32 . . . . .Packard Bell Desktop 1991

There's a page on each of these with screen shots, a VirtualBox VHD and install files.

I've also created a single VirtualBox VHD with 21 of the GUIs and a small DOS menu system so
that you can try each GUI without having to swap between VHDs.

Hopefully some of the information will be of use to someone interested in DOS GUIs.

Kind regards,
