OFFER Paint Shop Pro 4.12

The real deal. Something I stumbled on. I checked, and WinWorld does not have this build.

  • This is just a file dump, but thanks for finding this.
  • This is the oldest I can get to function in XP...

I don't see any medicine in this archive... If it's version 4.12 then here is the COM patch-

    OR

    https://ufile.io/09d5rz6j

Just place in root directory & engage command prompt THERE & type in psp412 as the target do not include the extension (.COM) done...

Being a JASC user I found this version actually a bit grim as JASC didn't have it's 'sea legs' yet...

This I found impressive & it's freeware & a single EXE no need for install I like it as it can be thrown in with a buncha images...All FX & filters quite strong-

    The second link works...

  • @SomeGuy . No it's not "just a file dump". The upload contains both files from an installation AND "SETUP.EXE" - the original FULL installer.

I'll redo the archive to make it easier to decipher.

And @TalkOrBell - no it does NOT need any medicine.
  • That's fine but there should be something saying that medicine is not necessary in the post or the archive which will prevent others from assuming it's a 'file dump'...

    Tranquillo....
  • Nonsense. That's why it says "FULL". But seriously, if you cant figure it out, just delete it.

    And move along.

And while I'm here, 2 more things:

    1. I would never offer cracked shareware to WinWorld. It's counter to WW's purpose.
    2. If an app needed patching, I would do it myself.

WinWorld is not a kiddies warez forum.
  • I meant instead of an ISO CD dump. A long time ago I used to have access to some Paint Shop Pro 4.x CD-ROMs, but never kept one.
  • This is a "full" release: https://archive.org/details/jasc-paint-shop-pro-4.12 aka ISO release :D
  • @telanus ...yup. Files are likely just fine. But be aware the ISO shows it was created with WinISO, in 2021.

A clean dump would show about the same date as the file set.

And that's a big hunk of bytes for a 3 meg installer.
