This is uncrippled freeware but it does display some ads at bottom bar...
Oddly enough these are GIF images in the root folder so in simple fashion I just opened one up in an image editor & bucket filled with GUI BG color then saved it in the 4 iterations...
The app seems not to know they are different but NOW there's no flashing distractions just a solid color...
This was actually suggested by a friend years ago, Yeah, he was right it's pretty good...
It's OLD last updated may of 2001 so should run on anything...

It's hard to classify this as it's way more than screen capture, has vector abilities but no bitmap painting, alot of different image filters, PIP pasting with variables & a host more...
When started main toolbar sits at top but can be minimized to tray...
You lose a bit of screen at bottom from the 'ad area' but that doesn't bother me. What bothered me was the flashing & I took care of that. I highly recommend this if you 'fix it' in the same manner...
