If you have the original disks for 6.0 and 6.0a, could you please post the assembly numbers found on the disk labels. They should be different between 6.0 and 6.0a.

Uploaded ones on WinWorldPC are not dumped as floppy disk image correctly.

Many of the Winword images on WinWorld (and elsewhere) are at least "once used". This can be discovered easily by examining "setup.ini". (All one needs is Notepad) Although it remains the same size, the installer modifies setup.ini, changing it's default binary value, and adding the serial number the user is requested to supply.

It doesnt affect the useability. I'm just noting for those concerned about authenticity.

This is a frequent situation in the pre-ISO era of Microsoft products.

Setup.ini is something that one would have to keep in mind if someone were trying to repair/restore a physical disk set, as this file is normally unique between any two original untouched setup floppy disks.

And I've got nothing against non-original "reconstituted" disk images as long as the contents are verified as complete and intact. For most Windows 3.1 era software this is quite easy. For earlier DOS software, an untouched disk image is a bit more desirable.

I don't understand why you are talking about getting away from the point in a thread for the purpose of providing data.

Here, we talk about Offer / Request, and about the offered data.
Even if it is for the purpose of pointing out whether there is a problem or whether there is an error,
Specifically, it is not the purpose of discussing the operation, technical part, or review of the software.
