Before 3D-Coat was 3D-Coat it was 3D-Brush... The name changed around version 2.07 or so...
Even though this is an early version it packed quite a few features... I like this open GUI with less garbage in the way...
Drawbacks are this was OpenGL only, too bad it wasn't Direct-X only... Anyways unless your video card had plenty of RAM your poly count is limited using OpenGL...
Also since it is thusly the colors of the maps when you finally get them back into your 3D package can be very saturated... Not a big deal if you have a package that allows adjustment of saturation, hue, contrast, etc (like Lightwave)...
This was back in the day the EULA had strange demands like you agree not to 'make porn' with 3D-Brush with plenty of religious overtones overall...
Have included also gallery images from 2008, all available tutorials from that time, an extra free addon pack...

Having grabbed this years ago I can tell you that the filename AND image annotation plus description on the website WAS 'Into The Light'... NOT 'Out Of The Dark'... Yet during the years & whatever 'Mandela Effect' it has 'flip-flopped' even on my burned disc...
I can tell you the old 'California Dreamin' by Mamas & Papas was 'Began to Pray' well... NOW it's 'Pretend to Pray'-
When we moved to where we are now back in 2005 there was a 'Sara Lee' bakery that had 'Nobody Doesn't Like Sara Lee' right up on the shittin' building... Wife & I were in awe of the strangeness thinking it a joke... I could not remember the exact commercial from childhood till I saw an OLD commercial that someone had recorded on super8 focused at an old TV on youtube that had the correct 'Nobody DOES IT LIKE Sara Lee' THEN I recalled it...Total different meaning & context...
See how 'queered out' the mandela version is? I could go ON & ON with other examples....
