OFFER!!!... N-Sided Argile 1.1.2 - The Oddball Paradox of Model Sculptors-Painters>>>
N-Sided was a French company been gone many years now... They made Argile & Quidam (pronounced 'Key-Dam') Quidam was more like Poser with library & such whilst Argile was advertised as a '3D Touch-up Solution'. Sounds like they were conflicted on how to classify it...
Well, It's a 3D sculptor & painter for sure with an emphasis on using it with Poser or DAZ Studio for modification or morphing as well as painting custom textures...
I like the way the wireframe lights up where your brush is... Has some 'Jelly Brushes' as well as conventional. Sub-D levels up to 4 but that high one you can't even hardly move the model around...
Paint on Color, Transparency, Bump and Normal Maps... There seems to be no way of showing normal paint in the viewport as to what you are actually producing... There is a render but just a bit more of an OpenGL render...
The real proof would be to export out & back into original app & see what horrors transpire, which is the proper test... I have not tried that yet....
This version 1 has no special graphics requires should work on most anything...
I guess I'll have to try a serious project in it soon...

cool, I'll download it and have a look see
Left, action
Mid, pan
Right, rotate
Still playing with it and reading the doc.
So we are 'in sync'... Like these two guys-
The manual says it does normal map painting, I didn't try it.
I think Mud box is too good compared to this... It's a shame but for me it's too high poly for low poly, and without the low poly texture baking I wouldn't find a use.
I just found their youtube channel:
https://www.youtube.com/@Nsided/videos
Also noticed they have an animation program:
https://evermotion.org/tutorials/show/7906/quidam-studio-3 (archive.org doesnt have the images either)
I'm not asking for quidam studio 3, but have you heard of it before?
Looks like I have Quidam 3.5 on this machine...
It has an 'advanced skeleton edit room' as well as pose, combine & others...
Came with a limited amount of content but some in the opening page are listed as 'coming soon' LOL...
I noticed "animeeple" unity3D, so I would guess it's also has good exports, probably FBX.
If you have the installs handy, can I ask for a request? I wouldn't mind trying it out

It's just a library like poser with integrated argile... Not animation probably best to import stuff to do what needs done then export out...
Exports 3DM, OBJ, DAE, STL I exported in curious rhino 3DM format then opened up in rhino 2-
In pose room bones light up when you are close I like that as well-
Here's a direct link for Animeeple they were trying to do like Quidam-

Quidam 3.5 looks great, does it do animation? I wouldn't mind trying it out.
Edit: Posted request.
