Issue with search

Hi,

Is it normal that a search for Quarterdeck doesn't return Qemm and DESqview?
Using the search in the upper right-hand of the page: https://winworldpc.com/library/operating-systems

By default, the search looks only in the title. You can use the advanced search's vendor field: https://winworldpc.com/search?vendor=Quarterdeck

hmmm. I never think to use the site's search function. I use Google or Yahoo, and search that way.

Thing is, there is always the very real risk that Google might not index some pages. They typically are very slow indexing new stuff.

Or one day, they might choose not to index anything at all. They do that some times.

I understand that about google. They are but a shadow of what they once were. Remember when they archived pages and you could choose that?

And I remember Archie and Altavista....

I haven't used google for a couple of years now. I simply do-not-trust-them.
Agreed, they used to be very good. But not now.
