    Where is version 1.x?

    Nobody knows if even a single copy of CP/M 1.x survived. Even for the Gnat System 10, the first computer system that ever got CP/M, there are only version 2.2.

    Remember that back then floppies were valuable and expensive, nobody thought about keeping version 1.x around when much better version was available.

    Well, source code for 1.x did survive, several versions in fact, as posted by the Computer History Museum: https://computerhistory.org/blog/early-digital-research-cpm-source-code/.
    Not sure about binaries, but it should be possible to recreate them from the source.
