SuSE install cogidas up
OK so I locally mirror the SuSE 9.1 install tree for x86-64. The install flys through but about 1/2 the installer skips, KDE uses a weird, unchangable kayboard map that has z and y changed and NO = SIGN! It also didn't get online and didn't have PING (!)!
So I screw that and try to install it from the mirrored server over the Inet, which fails even earlier. SuSE 9.0 does the same from the sambe mirror. So now I'm installing from a government mirror and so far, so good.
