OFFER!!!... Caustic 3.2 Win/Mac Freebie App-Like Sequencer Now Only On Wayback Machine>>>
Thanks to SunVox Member Logickin A I had recently been told the SingleCell Software site was gone...
In a way that was GOOD as a bigger buncha asswipes I had never met anywhere else sat on that forum...
Luckily the packages for Windows & Mac all seem to come back...
On Windows you are good from XP to Windows 10, apparently it don't work right on 11...
Works pretty good easy to see & navigation is like finger scrolling but with mouse wheel... Sounds are kinda 'tinny' so you need to apply FX to make 'em fatten up. This includes any WAVs you might import into PCMSynth or other module...
So what is actually lost now are all the presets everybody had shared on the site as you had to be logged in to download... I updated my collection about a year ago so I probably got 95% of them...
In time I will organize & figure out how to disperse...
Anyway the site is HERE now-
https://web.archive.org/web/20231227040110/https://singlecellsoftware.com/caustic
And the downloads at bottom work....
I am also making my own PCMSynth Presets from my own HiQ Soundfonts... These have never seen the internet before... As you might expect the instruments are quite large as every semitone is sampled for best quality...
Just did these this morning so it's my first 12 you just stick them in documents\presets\pcmsynth & you are ready... On most of these I have LFO driving filter cutoff slowly so you might wish to disable that...
The packages come with a smattering of instruments so this helps out...
No Pass-

Adjusting a bit of delay & width on the PCMSynth Mixer settings help to bring back 'alive'...
There's vids on YT for Caustic if you get stuck, careful as some are real 'moron city' quality mostly from those using the android app...

The mobile UI is a big turn off more me, but it sounds great and surprisingly exports to midi file very nicely, into the documents/song/export folder.
The UI was buggy for me, It's a shame they didn't make a dedicated desktop UI for this, the features and quality are pretty good.
The doc's are here... funny how it says PDF coming soon.

I never got into this because it reminded me of the single cell forum, which I was kicked off of like in 2016... They were 'concerned' about my samples but when I asked how is it possible to validate ANY sample that's in a PCMSynth instrument since it can't be taken back out so they should delete the whole presets area that has samples in it... They didn't like that reality so I got booted...
Signed back up in 2019 under different email just to grab presets nothing else...
Speaking of presets here's my second upload of HiQ instruments in this batch all were sampled from output of DiscoDSP Nord Rack-
Some of these are quite large at 66 MB reason being that longer segments had to be sampled for proper 'decent' loop points to be found as I hate 'flippy' loop points sounds rather novice to me I don't care how large an instrument is though...
