Mounting floppy images as a drive letter in 32bit & 64bit Windows - Why am I finding this out NOW?!

edited July 25 in Hardware
I vowed that I would no longer deal with floppy based stuff. Real hardware and tools just take up so much more brainpower and time than I want to invest with what time I have left.

But neat stuff keeps coming up. And so I was this years old today when I found out about :FileDisk and a variant by Gilles Vollant. Haven't time today, or this week, but when I do, I will cetainly give it a go.

"Release 22 (2020-03-26)"
filedisk-22.zip is a virtual disk driver for Windows that uses one or more files to emulate physical disks. A console application is included that let you dynamically mount and unmount files. FileDisk can also use ISO images from optical disks."

I know the info refers to ISO CDs and such, but I've read it will correctly present a floppy image as a virtual drive - which I have not had success with under Windows 10 x64.
