OFFER!!!... Sonic Foundry Viscosity 1.5 Build 536 Win32 & Tutorials... Used to be Jedor Viscosity..
Jedor Viscosity was a nice full featured GIF animation program... They sold it for 150 bucks initially then raised it to 200 bucks... I guess Sonic Foundry probably bought a copy to use & thought it was pretty dope so offered on the whole enchilada so bought out then stated selling for 100 bucks until THEY got bought out by Sony in late 2003...

That was the last of Viscosity...

Sonic foundry did make some tutorials though-
https://web.archive.org/web/20001019054235/sonicfoundry.com/tutorials/viscosity/default.htm
I have included all those as MHTs....

Pretty Deep but not a big hit to learn has built-in FX does not hook PS plugs but in a way you don't have to worry of crashing... Interface well laid out...

Lazy Nezumi works well have included a copy it's older version works in XP...

You can use a tablet but there's no advantage to it as Viscosity is not tablet aware...
Pass is WinWorld

This can do what Pixel Mixer does and a lot more, it's more of a video editor with pixel and vector image editor.
I didn't find it initiative, and had to go through the tuts and help.
Do you have any more .gif creators? I think I need to see and play with more before settling on one or two.
Viscosity is a very nice one, not being tablet friendly kinda sucks but using Lazy Nezumi hooking window smooths strokes plus creates array of geometric shapes not possible freehand, using such with a thumball mouse almost as good as a tablet...
So I'll share more GIF stuff... A real good one is now free, has been for awhile, WinImages FX & Morph... Don't really use the morph but the FX is great for taking a PNG & adding FX thus animation program is pretty deep even has trends for the different operations-
Quite a few blending modes-
You can run it without install but you won't have correct paths setup that way, note that there is REGISTRATION info on the page for both modules-

EasyToon over at Flat2D/3D is pretty cool been used to make alot of the Asian B/W GIFs-

The large pack of Asian GIFs is below on the page...
Easytoon is very cool, I guess it's for making comics style animations... but it has a hard limit of black and white.
