    Are you using an emulator/virtualiser?
    I tried it first in 86Box and like you it froze at the boot screen. I then tried it in an emulated IBM5150 in the MAME emulator and it plays flawlessly.
















    EDIT:

    It also works in 86Box, using the IBM PCjr machine.
