And here's ZSoft Publisher's Type Foundry 1.50 (1991). It is stated to be the last version to run under Windows 2.x. It comes with PC Paintbrush 1.50 (Win 3.0 required!) that WinWorld already has. It's kinda strange to bundle Windows 2.x and Windows 3.0 application and it seems there's no way to install them separately. S/n is on Disk1.
"*************** WINDOWS BUGS ******************************** The 1.0 versions of Microsoft Windows (1.00 1.01 1.03, 1.04) do not accurately draw filled polygons. As a result, if you try to produce bitmaps from outlines, you will find that your characters have a large number of little holes in them. This has been fixed in the 2.03 public releases (not most of the 2.0 betas) and in WIN386 version 2.03 (and maybe 2.01, 2.02). Please contact ZSoft for more information about this, and read the 1.1 update note above. Note also that some non-Microsoft video drivers may cause this bug even in Windows 2.03, according to our sources at Microsoft. ************************************************************"
It mentions windows 2 betas and Windows 386/2.02.
Edit: Also, was the 1.05 archive as you found it? There is no setup program with it, I just want to confirm nothing is missing.

Actually, the archive I attached is a merge of two archives. In first archive (PTF.ZIP - 1988/08/04) file OTLEDIT.EXE was corrupted, and in the second one (PTF.ARC - 1988/08/24) files TFPBBIT.EXE and TFPBSTK.EXE were corrupted. All other files are of the same date, same version and same md5. None of the archives has a setup program.

Yes, it's another evidence of their existence. From now I'm starting to think that this eBay lot wasn't a fake.
Additionally, many years back I had seen a sealed retail Windows 2 386 box on eBay and the sticker on the bottom claimed it was version "2.02". I had mentioned it on the Seen on eBay thread, but regrettably I did not save the photos.
