[OFFER] DRAGNET v2.01 (1989) File search utility for Windows 2.x
It looks like this is the only application for Windows 2.x for searching files, don't know of any other.
This application was mentioned in Nathan's ToastyTech list
It can also view different text, spreadsheet and graphic files for which it requires filters (*.FLT files) and settings in WIN.INI (see READ.ME). This behaves like Total Commander's internal Lister app.
There are Windows 2.x and 3.0 versions in DRAGNET.ZIP
Additional *.FLT files (for TIFF, Lotus 1-2-3, etc) are attached in DRAGNET1.ZIP. Looks like they work on Windows 3.0 only, probably I am wrong.

Comments
Access Softek is still in business though has moved to financial programming. Same owner even.
It really looks like Windows 95's explorer, more powerful though, as it can open and handle multiple directories in the same window.
I haven't found an integrated file viewer like in Dragnet, and yet not discovered how to handle external filters to view files, I should look closer later.
Also from what I've discovered, it comes with internal compression utility, format is unknown, TrID file identifier doesn't know the file type. The archiver changes last letter of file extension to Z (AMANDA.TIF -> AMANDA.TIZ) with a slight reduce in size. Zip offered 300% better compression rate.
Usually I use Command Post 7.0 as a file manager in Windows 2.x, probably it's time to switch, another benefit is that Prompt uses less conventional memory.
The archive provided as is. Like Dragnet, it contains WIN2 and WIN3 versions and no installer.
I think it's possible to distribute all three archives together cause they are closely connected to each other and have the same developer - Access Softek.
