Archive.org Book & Document Downloader

Have tried it - does not work for me. But I'm slow - so there is that.
In any case, as most know it is possible to "borrow" a book and view it online, but the days are gone when you could download books as PDF or Kindle, or whatever.
The workaround for me has been to "borrow", then view in 2 page mode, then SAVE each page, turning the page, repeat.
For a thousand page book like Office 2000 bible, this is a several hours long affair. And after that, more hours doing bulk brightening, resizing, etc, then even more hours in Adobe Acrobat, combining, converting to searchable text, and so on.
So anyway, if someone gets it figured out, I promise I won't mind being schooled like a child on how to use it.
